C.S. Jennings currently resides in Austin, Texas. He has been a freelance illustrator for over a decade. His work is varied and stretches across most media.
He has worked in film (as an animation lead for Richard Linklater's A Scanner Darkly). He has created art for children, caricatures, spot and editorial work in newspapers and magazines, greeting cards, children's books, art for advertising, publishing, card games--you name it. Editorial cartoons, character design, t-shirt art, logos--the list goes on and on.
As an author and illustrator (under the name Christopher S. Jennings) he wrote and illustrated the children's picture book Animal Band, released by Sterling Publishing, March 4th, 2008.
For four years C.S. Jennings was the Fort Worth Star Telegram's sports editorial cartoonist and continues to contribute to other parts of the paper.
He was also the art director for a direct-to-video children's sci-fi adventure. He designed sets, costumes and props.
In 1994 he won an Addy Award.
